UML Models Available for Review

UML Models have been completed for all of the four TransXML Business Areas.

Comments are welcomed and your input is very important to the success of this project!  To download and comment on a model, you must join the working group for the relevant business area by checking it off on your profile form (Click Profile to the left, or if you are not registered on transxml.org, click “Register“).

An introduction to UML models is available in the Project Information area of this website, under Project Documents.

The following models are available:

Transportation Safety

  • Crash Records
  • Highway Information for Safety Analysis

Construction/Materials

  • Project Construction Status (milestones)
  • Construction Progress (pay item quantities)
  • Materials Sampling and Testing
  • Bid Package

Surey/Design

  • Area Features
  • Design Project Pay Items
  • Geographic Roadway Design (UML to be used to make recommendations for future versions of LandXML through LandXML.org)

Bridge

  • Bridge Analysis and Design (this initial XML effort in the bridge area will be based on the existing AASHTOWare Virtis/Opis UML model)
