Sample Applications under Development

TransXML project team is developing sample applications; they will be posted starting at the end of January.
The TransXML project team is in the process of developing sample applications to illustrate how the various XML schemas can be used.  These sample applications will be posted to this web site starting in late January, and will include fully-commented source code that will enable software developers to jump-start their own applications.

FAQ number 11 states that “the project community input will not necessarily be incorporated into the schemas...” . My question is simply Why Not ?

As indicated in the FAQs, the TransXML project is nearing completion and there is no longer time to incorporate all suggestions and comments on the schemas.  Input received through December 31, 2005 has been incorporated into the schemas, but input received after January 1, 2006 will only be incorporated into the schemas if it can be accomplished without disrupting the project schedule or requiring other tasks (such as the development of sample applications) to be reworked.   Any such input will be documented in the final report for future use.
