The TransXML team is proud to release a draft of the Highway Information Safety Analysis Schema (HISA Schema).

The TransXML project team adopted the crash records schema developed by NHTSA as part of Global Justice XML.

Available here is a version current as of October 2005. Further versions can be downloaded at http://207.59.85.25

Spreadsheet with a quick analysis of what items that were defined in the draft data dictionary for the AASHTO TSIMS project are covered (or could be derived from) items currently in the TransXML Safety UML models.

Most items not covered are related to citations, convictions, motor carrier crashes and rail crashes.
